PRE-MOVE

• Assistance in securing realtors and moving companies. We have a list of realtors and moving companies that have been referred to us and we can pass that information on to you at no charge if needed.
• Development of a moving timeline, to set dates when specific tasks need to be completed and to define who is responsible for each task in order to expedite a successful move.
• Help with determining which items will be needed in your new living quarters. We assist with sorting and downsizing as to meet the needs of the new residence. We measure every room in your new residence if accurate floor plans are not available, and then measure the furniture you want to take and draw up room layouts assuring that all the furniture will fit.
• Decorating help. We give creative ways to adapt the furnishings you already own, like window treatments, to fit and complement the windows in your new home. We also provide creative storage solutions, which are important when moving to a smaller space.
• Disposing of unneeded items to charity, auction services or consignment shops.
• Completing change of address notifications
• Packing

MOVING DAY

• Supervising the movers, making sure the furniture is placed according to plan. Moving day can be very hectic and sometimes stressful. We can be there to make sure everything goes smoothly.
• Cleaning of the vacated property to the homeowner’s specifications.
• Unpacking boxes, putting everything away. We try to place everything in a similar location as to where it was positioned in your previous home to make your new home is as similar as possible to your old one.
• Set up of your new home. We plug in lamps, hang curtains and pictures, set clocks, make beds, and lay out towels. When we’re finished, your home is ready to live in.
• Shopping for items needed for the new living quarters. Whether it is shopping for food, needed light bulbs or other incidentals, we can take care of it for you.
